Icon Request: fa-masonic-symbol #6264

Hey guys,

I'd like to suggest that we create an icon for the masonic symbol of the square and compasses. Masonry is one of the largest fraternal organizations in the world, and I'm sure there would be a large demand for this...

As I'm new to this community, if I'm able to create to symbol and submit it - please let me know what I need to do to make that happen?

Making an update on this request.

What can it be used for?

Masonic Lodges websites around the globe, masonic communication apps, masonic event flyers, newsletters, trestleboards.

In most jurisdictions the letter G is used in the center of the square in compass.

Icon request checklist

[x] This is a single icon or matched pair (Ex: lock / unlock)
[x] The title starts with "Icon request: " and is followed by the requested icon name (Ex: Icon request: magical-unicorn)
[x] I have searched for existing issues and to the best of my knowledge this is not a duplicate
[x] I have included at least one example image if it could be helpful (optional)
[x] The request is for a concrete object (it's harder to make an icon to represent happiness, it's easier to make a smiley face. ☺)

@tagliala this does NOT refer to #5713. They are completely different. Will create a new issue now since this is getting drowned out in a cycle where the issues are being closed.

@tagliala the new issue contains updated information not stated in any of these threads so that the icons to be added are as accurate as possible to Freemasonry. There are an old logo and a new logo, the pair of which I will be providing examples of in my new issue. The old logo is the one stated here, the new logo is the added update.

Would appreciate if both logos could be created to: • Preserve heritage • Maintain the updated accuracy

The original issue has been lost and drowned out by a plethora of new logo issue additions/references

Hey @tagliala, • There is only one other upvote here apart from myself • When you closed my issue (#14233), you added the comment "Duplicate of #5713" which, as I stated before, is completely untrue because #5713 is completely unrelated. This is not to be confused so please make amends to the same, thanks.

Apart from this, sorry for the confusion. Thanks for handling this! Please also do make note of the updated logo that I have attached in my issue #14233. That and the one @rkammer has added here are the images to be referenced for complete accuracy.
