Icon request: icon-halal #6566

hello, we need an icon that show halal label just like the attached image.

halal-31-640x480 if it was difficult to see, here is the link that provides the picture: http://i1.tribune.com.pk/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Halal-31-640x480.jpg

we are planning to use it to highlight information for the halal product in our website.

+1 The "halal" icon is needed to describe the type of tourism for the site of tourist services. It will also be useful in all areas where services and products of the category "halal" are provided.

Despite of emerging market for world halal product and services, it seems this request was not seriously considered. If only the creator understand, it's not merely about religion issue, but mostly biz issue.. (as most of the players in this industry have various religion background), this request should not took this long lasting to be fulfilled.

As of 2018, the existing Muslim market size is approximately valued at 2.2 trillion U.S. dollars and has potential to grow to about 3.2 trillion dollars by 2024. the the largest market for Muslim consumers is the halal food and beverage sector.

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
