Icon request: icon-bounce-up #7227

Open PuKoren opened 9 years ago

Hello all,

I would like to represent a bounce rate with a nice font-awesome icon.

Here are some sample images (I didn't find one that represent well what I have in mind):

The idea is this: Image of a bouncing arrow

Rigid like this: Edges are straight

Bouncing on a floor (or not, IDK)

You could rotate http://fontawesome.io/icon/level-up/

True, thanks for the insight

However I would like to have some "floor" where the arrow bounce, maybe its overkill because the level up - rotated arrow do it pretty nicely, thanks!

Duplicate of #4397 ?

PuKoren commented 9 years ago

To me they are really different, one is a trend and represent a increase the other represent a bounce / reflect. They have arrow in common but I don't understand the same idea when I look at both

tagliala commented 9 years ago

that's fine. Renaming the issue

bounce-up

tagliala commented 9 years ago

@PuKoren it makes sense to also have a bounce-down?

PuKoren commented 9 years ago

@tagliala In my use case no

tagliala commented 9 years ago

I mean in a generic application, since trend-up has it own counterpart

+1 Any updates on that icon?

Bounce down would be helpful for "bad" calls.

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
