Icon Request: triangle-up/down/left/right #9436

I see that you have a caret-down and caret-up, but these are smaller than other icons. This is a request to have a set of larger icons (up, down, left, and right) which is of an equilateral triangle that is more of a size that matches the square for example.

Yes, a set of equilateral triangles pointing up, down, left, right would be useful. The rounded-corner triangles as suggested by #1796 would be acceptable. Thanks!

Update: It got even simpler. I simply used fa fa-play fa-rotate-270 to rotate the "fa-play" icon 90 degrees ccw.

I was able to satisfy my need with two things: 1. fa fa-play rotate, where the rotate class is: 2. https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/text-rotation/

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
