Feature description

Hi,

First, thank you for this app, I use it since a few years now and it has been great so far.

Recently, I totally changed my way of using it because I produced my weekly planning with a lot of details in every day of the week. I use repetitive daily events in order to help me organizing my time and choose between activities.

Now, this use case is in conflict with everything I used to do in the app before. I mean, having birthday events, weekend activities / parties or specific tasks as a "remember to do those things when the day will come". And then, I make a huge difference between repetitive events used to organize all my time during the week and ad hoc events used more as a "remember" thing or "to do" thing.

I was wondering how I could have everything in the app and still being able to switch between one world (week view / planner) and the other (month view / remember ad hoc things) and it appeared to me it could be a good thing to attach event type to views or be able to auto filtering them in specific views. I know right now I can do it but I have to do it every time I change the view by selecting which event I don't want to see.

So I think it could be great to be able to link events to views in the edit menu of an event type with a "display ON/OFF" option for every view / log, and with that I don't have to do it by hand every time.

Thank you for reading.

Why do you want this feature?

To be able to filter events from month view / month log in order to maintain readability and separate different use cases.
