feature req: "company name" field

Feature description

there is no "company name" field. most other contact apps have a "company" name field

Why do you want this feature?

interoperability with all other contact apps and vcards

Additional information

i have imported a few vcards that use the "company" name field and the name is brought into fossy contacts and shown as a name in the list. but there is no way to access it or see it in the edit screen, or any other screen.

You can enable this field in Manage shown contact fields, which you can find:

while viewing contact, in three dots menu
in the app settings

I have everything checked there. There is no option for"company name"

I even have one contact from some other import that had the company name displayed. But no field for it in fossify contacts

For wherever reason it did not accept everything checked under the three dots. I had to do in settings. I'll test some more.

It's also labeled at organization and not "company" like Google, essential pim, thunderbird etc label it.

it is also far from the other "names" unlike other apps

This name comes straight from vCard standard.
