Steps to reproduce the bug

1. click on picture
2. favorite it
3. leave back to all all folders content
4. picture doesnt show favorited (even unfavorite doesnt work)

Instant update

Actual behavior

It isnt updated, only after refresh it is

How many photos do you have in this directory and generally on the device? Also, does it happen in directories with fewer photos?

I've tested it on three devices with stock Androids (OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi 7A), and couldn't reproduce it. If it happens to someone else, please let us know, along with device details.

@Aga-C all folders content, not folder view (in that mode it works!) 2 or 77 images in folder it doesnt work about 100 images in all folders

Thanks for clarifying! In fact, I was able to reproduce it. Maybe not as extreme as you described, but on OnePlus 8 Pro with circa 1300 photos I had to wait around 2 seconds for star to appear.

okay I didnt notice it before, after about 8 seconds it gets updated
