We did it, so people will stop doing issues with just link or very brief description and text "more info in [SMT repository]". We won't close issues where the link isn't that much necessary, just additional information. However, any other wording will cause people to think that their case is an exception, and they can send us to SMT, causing unnecessary arguments.
@inson1
I appreciate that you are trying to help but please stop worrying about these little details. For instance, you could try to reproduce bugs that we haven't been able to reproduce and comment on there. Comment on feature requests if you have any thoughts on how the feature could be implemented (UX).
The bug reports and feature requests are mostly being assessed by @Aga-C and me, we don't want there to be a link to an SMT issue because it's just more work for us. Secondly, there will be a dead link in every issue if and when SMT goes private. If I'm unsure about something and want to discuss it, I'll ask or create an issue or a discussion and even ping people.
[x] I read the contribution guidelines.
I think linking issues from SMT is still usefull
May I add it do all repositories?
