Too many files with the same last modified causes lags and crashes

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. I dragged a bunch of pictures from my pc to my new phone. (so the app thinks they have a same last modified)
2. These pictures are in different folders.
3. After a short period of time, the folders' sort by crashed, randomly changes the folders' sequence.
4. The app became lagging and unusable.

Expected behavior

The app will give these folders a specific sequnce.

Actual behavior

Almost the same as the expected behavior.

It disappeared. However it's really a annoying isssue and sorting by last modified is really helpful, Please fix it and I'm truly appreciate it.
