Screen "About" will be in the system language even if the application is enabled to use English #95

Please provide more info when reporting bugs.

What device are you using? Which language is the system language? Which language is selected inside the app? Attach screenshots of the About page.

Russian

Well, this error occurs when the "Use English language" option is enabled. And the system language is not English, or probably with the choice of language for each application in Android 13 and higher it also works

@naveensingh I can confirm this for Agenda, Clock, Contacts, File Manager, Gallery, Music Player, Notes, Voice Recorder. ( I do not yet use Fossify phone and sms ) System language Dutch, Nokia 6 + Android 7.1.2

Now I'm curious. Why is that? Are these not on-par with your stock Phone and SMS apps?

@naveensingh, I cannot say if they are on-par as I have really not used them for even one second. You get a big screen from Google that asks if you are really really sure you want to switch the basic phone function to another app. So I guess I still have cold feet. Why? Twofold....

First, phone and text feel fundamental. If Fossify app would not work flawlessly all the time or I´d lose my text history then I would be upset. And then the fear of not being able to revert back to the original situation.
