"Take Photo" option opens Lineage camera app but doesn't attach photo

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Open Fossify SMS Messenger
2. Select a person to send a message to.
3. Tap the "+" sign and select "Take Photo"
4. The new stock Lineage 20 camera app opens.
5. Take the photo.
6. You are left with a screen that shows the photo that you have taken. There is nothing "tappable" and you can't do anything to add the photo to Fossify SMS Messenger.
7. If I select the back button, I am taken back to the messenger app, but the photo is not attached.

Expected behavior

I would expect that the photo would be added to my message.

Actual behavior

The newly taken photo is not added to my message.

Additional information

I do know that that Lineage 20 has replaced the old stock camera app with a new camera app. I don't know if this is relevant, or not.

It's a bug in your camera app, not in Fossify Messages. When a photo is taken, your camera app should display two buttons - accept and cancel. You should raise this problem to LineageOS.
