Why not have in the main menu, when you are creating a world, an option in the field that has 'Superflat", "Large Biomes" and "Normal" add in a option called "cretaceous" which has Dinosaurs naturally spawning, and to focus on the archaelogy side maybe Academies that are functioning not broken, with maybe a retextured special type of villager. Actual weapon shops that have villagers selling weapons. And ships that are repaired.
I think the idea is to do something like this in it's own dimension. It could be possible that once that is implemented a special world type could be done.
