I think this is a good idea. I use to use Forestry backpacks, but found their size to small and switched to the backback mod. While I lose the convenience of having certain items go to the correct backpack, the size more than makes up for that. I would suggest that if you do add a backpack for the mod that you make 2 or 3 sizes so that can be made from different materials. This way they can upgrade to larger sizes and that the final one be at least the size of the ones from the backpack mod.
Perhaps they can even have different kinds the way forestry has their's set up.

I tend to carry a lot of backpacks when I go out, whether they be Apiarist, Mining, Digging, etc. Would be cool to have one for this mod to store relics, bio-fossils, frozen meat, etc.

Actually if we DO make backpacks it'll most likely be like the forestry ones (Sowwy). Also, Annysia, do you mean that the woven variants are too small? If so, you like carrying A LOT of things hehe. We'll think about this more when we start worrying about mod compatibility and such :P.
I'm always carrying a lot of things... lol. Between bee, tree and butterfly breeding in Forestry and all the ores from metallurgy ( I love to mine) and the things from Mariculture and Thaumcraft and gems plus and love to grow crops, so I'm always collecting seeds and such. Yes, I have an issue with having enough bag space. :P
