Plesiosaurs space issue #348

I have a 36x36x7 pond for my Plesiosaur but I keep getting the message that it does not have room to grow from the point it hatches onward. I've tried a 3 of them in this pond. First one was almost full grown but I had to kill it when it got stuck in some glitched water witch I fixed. Last one disappeared for no reason about a day after I uses essence of chicken to grow it a couple of stages. Current swimming around but not growing. Does it need more space or is something going on here?

It should have space it sounds like. I'll have to do some testing on my end.
