What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Access the settings menu
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see these buttons: Add new, Edit, Disable, Remove , Move up,
Move down
These buttons are not available. The only buttons I see are: Make donation,
Cancel, OK
I can only see the top half of the window. No scroll bar.

What version of the product are you using (Nagios Checker and Nagios)? On
what operating system? Nagios Checker 0.14.2 with Nagios 3.0.1 on Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.

Could you provide a screenshot of this situation, please?
Thank you very much.

Here's a screenshot.
Another thing I discovered is that the icon in the statusbar is unresposive
unless I
right-click on it. But perhaps this is intentional?

Thank you both for screenshots.
I test NCH under Ubuntu Linux with Gnome and buttons were correctly visible. I
guess
from screenshots you are using another window system that has different
behavior.
I have made some changes to dialog GUI that should be more correct.
Could you please test the attached version if it helps?
Thank you very much.

Same thing after the guifix. You can see in this screenshot where it cuts off
the
bottom half of the about page.

Could you be more specific about your window system (kde, gnome, xfce,...),
linux
distribution and any special settings you have set (it looks like you have
magnified
font)? If it is available freely I will try to download this distribution and
install
it virtualized and test NCh in.
Thank you.

For the window system: I've tested ratpoison and openbox on xorg 1.6.1 with
nvidia
drivers. For the distribution, I'm using arch linux (http://www.archlinux.org).
The
font I'm using is dejavu sans, from the ttf-dejavu font package. It's freely
available and part of the archlinux 'extra' repository.

I'm not sure what wes.harris is using. It looks like it could be one of the *box
variants (openbox, fluxbox, etc.).

Hi all, for now I am suggested mozilla mark this as non-linux compatible.

Well, I didn't find the source of this behavior, resigned and removed maximal
height
of the Settings dialog although it is not solution for me.
Please test the version guifix2 attached there if it helps.
Thank you.

Thank you very much for this fix. As you can see from the attached screenshots
the
issue appears to be resolved with guifix2. I've also checked the latest 0.14.3
release. Everything looks good. I'm using it now.

Thanks again. I think this bug has been squashed.
