Note: this might be because I have kernel lockdown set to confidentiality.
I was fixing up my secure boot settings, so I booted into the firmware and deleted all keys, then rebooted. To make sure that it was actually reset, I decided to run sudo sbctl reset. After entering my password, my entire computer hung (couldn't access other ttys, so it wasn't WM).
I don't know if this happens in user mode too, but I can test if requested. I don't know where I can find logfiles, but there are no coredumps that I can find.
Also, this might just be a me problem, and I have no way to check.
