Out of interest, why add support for --install-user-units and --install-system-units to the binaries? Isn't this easier to leave as part of a PKGBUILD or the Makefile? (and downstream package maintainers)

I thought it was a good idea. I'm not sure I agree today.

I'm tempted moving this project to meson to get better support for templated files.
