[HELP] Downloading mods fills up the Windows drive instead of the selected directory #123

I have 2 drives, C and D, C for windows and D for other stuff, the directory i selected for mods is in the D drive but when i try to update all mods it filled up the C drive and ran out of storage in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\241100\583496184

The path i selected for mods is: D:\Faster arma 3 dedicated server\arma mods directory

I dont know whats causing this and honestly i might just be dumb and not know how this works, i could use some help

fixed, just completely deleted the profile and started over
