Select radio mode from edit model #1790

Good morning, I run Ethos 1.2.11 on S20S. I fly in mode 1 for airplanes and mode 3 for ely and drone. Is it possible to set flight mode in the edit model tab, instead of radio setup? doing so each memory will have its own flight mode and if it is not set by default it will be that of the radio setup. Thank you Luca P.

Default would come from the Radio Settings, then it's possible to override the general setting in Model / Edit

From a users perspective it seems that the choice of stick mode is already fundamental in determining what sticks things are assigned to for running the new model wizard and determining what mixes are available for the model. The sticks menu could be improved by allowing the user to determine their own defaults, and allowing for some modification on a per model basis like in the model menu and the wizard.

Having a TX Mode choice menu that gave options for mode 1, 2, 3, 4, and custom would be great and then a user that flys FPVs with actuator driven old-timer planes can use the analogs to drive their camera gimbals and the momentary switches to run the elevator, rudder AND the wizard will produce a much more useable set of mixers for that as well as the noob's default models. It would also be nice to override the radios default stick mode on a per model basis. I am sure there are a lot of glider guys using aileron mix for their rudders due to the stick mode choice that favors a fleet of mostly full house planes (The trim does not follow change of input. ae in mode 2 the only the left trim tab is available in the rudder mix. Yes cross trim, etc. but it could be easier.)
