Ethos Screenshots saved as BMP but this community doesn't support BMP #1893

This community does not support BMP screenshots but that is how Ethos saves screenshots. Maybe Ethos needs an enhancement to output a compatible format with this community for simple drag n drop behaviour. Overall it would facilitate sharing screenshots.

I would also find this very good, because it encourages more people to give help with ethos questions, than if additionally a conversion .bmp => .jpg / .png has to be done manually.

That would be really good. The .bmp format cannot be used practically anywhere in an online medium. Some forums do allow a .bmp file attachment, but just not a direct representation in the post. And the less trouble it is, the more likely screenshots will also be used to explain an issue, which in turn helps development ... ;-).

It would be advantageous if the screenshots would be saved in .jpg or .png format ...
