Unable to make SF global, if it is invoked with a trim #4015

It's hard to see on photos, but as soon as I use a trim to invoke a special function, the option to make it global becoms unavailable:

Can this be changed?

I suspect this is a kind of protection, because maybe it interferes with some of the models.

But on the other had, in FBL helicopters we don't use trims at all, at least not for aileron, elevator and rudder. I have them disabled in all models. This gives me 6 momentary switches, which unfortunately can't be used for global functions.

Duplicated on my X18.

These should be possible, since the trim positions are global items like any switch position and unlike trimmer functions.
