Python 3.10 support

A few things need to be updated to support python 3.10

This is a first list, maybe something else is broken

0.5.x -> 0.5.3 (last of the series, I hope)

• [x] Fix: ImportError: cannot import name 'Mapping' from 'collections' (use collections.abc)
• [x] Fix: type 'float' but 'int' is expected
