google talk message causes no data #1067

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open phone call on android phone with sipdroid version 2.7
2. receive incoming google talk message
3. this breaks the call and the the phone reads no data on both devices.
sipdroid stays open like the phone call is continuing. hanging up the line on
one end won't end the call on the other.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: that the phone call continues on normally as with other notifications.

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
sipdroid 2.7. jelly bean on both devices, but this was also a problem when I
was using gingerbread

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
i'm using pbxes with google voice however I've run calls through other servers
that result in the same effect.

Which type of network are you using?
same problem on WLAN and 3G

Please provide any additional information below.
I've run the same test through other SIP programs and the native SIP stack in
android, and they suffer from similar problems. I've also turned off
notifications for gchat and it still breaks the call when a message is
received. Receiving gmails will cause no data for a few seconds and then it
will return. The only solution that I can find is to sign out of google talk
during calls.

I wonder if these two problems are related:
http://code.google.com/p/sipdroid/issues/detail?id=846

I signed out of all my gchats and messaged myself again which still
disconnected the call; my account showed up as online when I was not logged in
anywhere. I didn't receive any gchat notifications but call still changed to
"no data" and voice transmission was cutoff.
