Note: We have an idea of how to interweave Jon's annotations of "intratextual phenomena" with collation markers in the output editions. Jon wants to concentrate on "tunneling" aspects of the novel--that is, the way references to particular phenomena such as alchemy surface and resurface as various points. We could try tracking this across the collation. I'm hoping we can take a look at the annotations thus far and consider them from a "stand-off" perspective, much as we're considering the collation "bridge" document we're compiling. Ideally the annotated material is available in any face of the edition that appears, if its present there.
I've pulled Jon Klancher's annotations for the edition via the hypothes.is API in prep for our meeting on Monday, and for considering how ultimately to work them into the edition interface. The files are here in a few different formats: https://github.com/ebeshero/Pittsburgh_Frankenstein/tree/master/hypothesis/2017-12-14-annotations
