Can batchman jobs be submitted with both -with-tower but also send the same information to the batchman API? That way users could still use tower if they want to without having to choose between tower & batchman. I don't know if this is actually possible. If you only have one shot, i.e., you can only submit to the url specified in the -with-tower switch, then maybe there could be a "repeater" that (optionally) sends the same info on to tower.nf.
