This represents a complete overhaul of GLAM, using Plotly+Dash for visualization, and providing a different concept for how to interact with the data.
Following a wonderful suggestion from @jgolob, the user can now mask individual specimens from the visualization interface (taking advantage of a nifty method for sharing data between callbacks in a session by storing data directly in the browser with hidden divs) which automatically update all of the other displays in the browser.
