who is the audience for the flask template? #8

I thought these templates were for the labs that we support, and the template was meant to illustrate best practices and provide something that could be reused and tweaked for various purposes.

But looking at the issues you have created, it seems like they are very scicomp-specific? Is scicomp the intended audience?

The primary use case is rapid prototyping and the initial audience would be 2/3 productivity increase in SciComp and 1/3 research groups. This will shift over time as we offer brown bag sessions.
We had one case where we were supposed to do a quick web app and by the time we got to it month later the researcher had already shifted priorities, now it is still not deployed (https://github.com/FredHutch/IT/tree/master/flask/file_xfer)
