Hi there, I'm using Flym for tracking my favourite podcasts. The first Flym Feed Reader provided a download button from which I was able to start a direct download of the podcast mp3/m4a/whatever file. Please add that button again, it makes live easier. :-)

Sample RSS feed: https://www.heise.de/ct/uplink/ctuplink.rss Sample snippet that needs to be parsed: <enclosure url="https://cdnapisec.kaltura.com/p/2238431/sp/0/playManifest/entryId/1_u3fh2oy0/format/url/protocol/https/flavorParamId/1608871/Raspi-4-im-Detail-Medienstaatsvertrag-Hoerbuch-Apps-c-t-uplink-29-2.mp3" length="57986048" type="audio/mpeg" />

Thank you!

I'm no developer yet let me state my IMHO here. Podcast is a really special type of RSS. So special app would suit here better, which would allow you to control downloads, control the podcast listening incl. resuming from where you left etc. I'd suggest you looking at the https://f-droid.org/packages/de.danoeh.antennapod/ for that.

Oh, it's not that special, I know many podcasts which are published using RSS. My suggestion does not come from somewhere but from Flym version 1.x.y itself. I just would like to have that button back again. :-) Btw: AntennaPod could be an alternative for more advanced usage, of course.

I just switched to new flym, since it finally got reverse ordering :) Now i discover that the "download attachment"-button is gone. please bring it back! its a piece of cake, i believe, and direct download via os is sooooo much more convenient, than opening a website and fight with their different web-players!..
