Request: File Managment function (del) #149

Open qwksilver opened 4 years ago

qwksilver commented 4 years ago

It would be nice to hit delete and have it do a few things. 1: remove from playlist (this already happens I think) 2: delete file to bin 3: delete related script/audio to bin

optionally set a move file to holding directory button then have settings under paths have a place to put "bumped" files.

key binding for "Bump off file"

It's just nice to be able to toss them out during session and deal later with permanent vs archive, the bin will let me do that, but a move function would be even safer. Although right now neither way is available.

Might happen together with #147

this is also related to keybindings. ergo just hitting the delete while watching a specific video would do the things above.

Just added some similar functions to the playlist context menu: Move/Rename/Delete (Permanently) all related files (same name, different extension)

Very nice, I've noticed it can't handle more than 1 at a time.

Also, generally I would rather have delete to recycle/trash without confirm, over any form of permanent delete.

and of course a keybind to "recycle video/script/audio" while watching that video. (which I will add to the extra keybindings list.

ps the new explore select dialog is nice.

Yep, Move and Delete will get that option later

Might happen ... eventually

I don't know why I waited so long to replace the old one - I really hated it
