First, I use your plugin for many years and it is still great and works as exspected - thanks for the good work! My question: Is it possible to display the battery status of the thermostats in the plugin?

Best regards, Kalle

Hi Kalle,

Thank you so much, glad it is working well for you!

No at the moment it doesn't support retrieving the battery status. If the official app shows the battery status then it should be possible to add it. But unfortunately I dont have a Tado thermostat myself as I borrowed one to write this plugin (I used to have a Tado AC controller).

So unfortunately its not something I can easily add right now. If there are any developers out there using this plugin that would like to continue adding features then they could join the project and contribute updates. But unfortunately right now I dont have the time or the equipment to do it.

Sorry!

Thanks for the quick reply. No problem - it is not really important. The Tado app can show two states of the battery "good" and "low" and I thought that can somehow be queried and displayed in the plugin.

Thanks again, Kalle
