What you see there is the KDE Plasma desktop running the game Enemy Territory and you can see on the top, there is a gap. This was not there before the update.
I tried to remove the configuration of the game and it'worse. When running the game, the screen resolution changes and I'm unable to do anything.
I'm using the computer through HDMI. Simply changing the resolution in KDE Plasma mess up the screen as well.
FYI, glxgears runs perfectly in fullscreen. Apparently it's when changing the resolution that there are issues.

Since I update to drm-fbsd12.0-kmod-4.16.g20181215, I'm unable to run the game 'Enemy Territory' in fullscreen.
