kmscube/glxgears rendering not stable at 60 fps #85

FPS varying from 50-60. Figure out what's causing this...

what gpu are you using?

This is an APU, Ryzen 3 2200G. Lately it's been more stable around 60.02 fps. Not sure if that is because I enabled DC with compat.linuxkpi.enable_dc=1 or something else. I will test again without DC to make sure.

Hmm maybe something fixed it. Without DC glxgears is around 59-60. With DC a bit more stable. I will close this for now.

Hm, isn't Vega (including APU) only supported with DC? I think it always enables DC

Yeah that might be so.. Anyways, a closer look at fps and it seems they are similar regardless of DC setting so it might just be the alignment of the stars having influence that time...
