Should there be a space before the Devanagari Danda?

None of the 28295 instances of the Devanagari Danda are preceded by a space.

Is this a problem?

Further evidence:

• A search for the regexp \x{0964} gave 28295 hits.
• A search for the regexp \S\x{0964} gave 28102 hits.
• A search for the regexp \x{0964}\x{0964} gave 193 hits.
• A search for the regexp \s\x{0964} gave no hits.

I would suggest that we replace two adjacent danda by U+0965 ॥ Devanagari Double Danda.

cf. There are 2907 paragraph markers \p in total. For very few of these does the preceding verse end with two danda!
