What an excellent handbook! I wish this repo had existed when I started FreeCAD modification.
By request in https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/issues/11505#issuecomment-1826459246, I want to add some info about FreeCAD-stubs.
Although, the installation process is very simple, it may be worth it to mention that there are Python stubs, but not installed together with FreeCAD binaries.
