there are a few extensions that I use for youtube. one of them, better youtube, is pointless with this, another one lets me make an on the fly playlist, its called "YouTube Real Time Playlist" https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/youtube-real-time-playlis/oblljodddjemphcphienneigmlhhchdm Its really nice to be able to easily setup a playlist of videos to watch. another extension that I use, and find more and more use form as time goes on is "Controls for Youtube" https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/controls-for-youtube/doocmbmlcnbbdohogchldhlikjpndpng I personally have mine skip 10 seconds and 30 seconds both forward and back, due to so many people having sponsors I have heard them shill... some of them hundreds of times in the past. the controls could possibly be shifted off the video, and below it
It would also be nice if users could set how watched videos are handled, currently it seems like they are blacked out a little with watched on them. I could probably get use to that, but for example on my youtube, I have a style that makes the videos quite visibly whiter, so its never a question if it was watched.
Thanks to youtube's abject BS in how it just removed email notifications and how poorly they handle everything else, I can easily see a use case for this where I set up different profiles for different types of viewing, so I can check them instead of currently having many channels that I like left open. I love what I see so far, and with a few quality of life things I think this would be perfect.
