Describe the bug

I'm experiencing significant video playback lag after the latest video player update. Prior to this update, FreeTube ran smoothly on my PC, even with 720p 60fps videos. However, since the update, even 480p videos lag badly, making the app nearly unusable for video playback.

Expected Behavior

Smooth video playback at resolutions up to 720p 60fps.
