This sounds like it is working as expected, refreshing the window is the same as restarting the app, so it is understandable that it will reset it back to the default value that you have configured in the settings. We always tell people to not refresh the window, but they still do it and then are surprised when it breaks stuff.

i made this because video is stuck after sleeping computer, player cannot play video after stuck!, also i have another stuck when video was paused for long time, how i can play video again without refreshing window?

onlineapps-cloud commented 3 weeks ago

if player remember moment of watched video, and after refreshing i can starting to watch from the paused moment, why it cannot remember volume state to watch video with same volume?

absidue commented 3 weeks ago

Because you have the watch history turned on so it is loading your watch progress from the watch history on the file system.

problem can easy to fix with adding save state of audio level like a video progress, thanks for your great software!

absidue commented 3 weeks ago

When you restart the app it loads the default configured volume in the settings, if you don't want FreeTube to start with 100% volume, then change the default in your settings.

can you say which option i need to configure? because i cannot find in settings this option, thanks a lot!

onlineapps-cloud commented 3 weeks ago

ah, default volume, i found.
