Ask Allan if he would like to pass some syndicates on to other coords or if he is happy to continue as is.

allanraymond commented 4 years ago

Allan is more than happy to continue as is. Although I look a after a number of syndicates, only two are active all the others were taken over by me some years and were closed down when the allocations which were given to the syndicates were completed.

To find out: what has happened with Allan's active syndicates? What has happened with the Syndicates with only 1 or 2 users - best asked to move to a new syndicate??? or ?? What syndicate coord tasks are there for closed/empty syndicates, and who undertakes them?

allanraymond commented 2 years ago

Pat I am still looking after the two active syndicates so no further action is required. The combined 70 or so volunteers in the two syndicates are provided with allocations by me. Regards Allan Raymond------ Original Message ------ On Tuesday, 23 Aug, 22 At 11:02, @.***> wrote:

Pat

With regards to your other queries

  1. There are 17 active syndicates, and during the last month not one of them had less than 8 volunteers transcribing within the syndicate. Which means none of the active syndicates had only 1 or 2 transcribers or users.

  2. Closed syndicates are those I closed when the syndicate completed all its given allocation and the original coordinator had resigned due to personal reasons or unfortunately death.

There are 48 closed syndicates of which 44 were those looked after by me and the other 4 are looked after by the original coordinators even though the syndicates themselves are no longer active.

Primarily the involvement in looking after the closed syndicates is dealing with correction requests submitted by Joe public via our automatic correction system.
