I am not at all happy with the National Archives links. They seem to be incorrect in so many cases.

Classic examples are Islandshire and Norhamshire for DUR 1841.

These are NBL places, pieces are in CEN1 for NBL. How have they changed to DUR in CEN2?

Now they have to be moved back from DUR to NBL. And many more such. Vamos DM!

Nearby places seems a pipe dream if the going live timescale is to remain.

@suffolkroots It is important to be careful when talking about places. Yes there are issue with TNA but that does not affect the Place of Birth information entered into a census. Yes the POB nearby search feature will need to make use of the geographic location of a Civil Parish and that is why the coordinators are being asked to ensure that those are linked to a known geographic place in the Freecen2 Place collection. This is very similar to the work that had to be done 6 years ago with the Freereg Places collection.
