Why only registered users? Maybe we can make a csv download of search results available to everyone? It allows them to work through the results in their own time. Do we need to limit download size to stop plagiarism? This also improves accessibility as people with disabilities etc can download the results and work through them at their own pace in a manner that suits them.
Review how this works in FreeBMD2 but scrum suggests enabling CSV download and limiting to first 50 records
What Geoff suggests is not what this story is about. I will make a new story for the scrums' excellent idea.
Saved search and registered researchers are implemented in FreeBMD" (not 'LIVE' yet) but dependent on single-sign-in across projects, almost certainly to be implemented for ComETT.
This allows a resgistered researcher to save a search (e.g. FN John LN Smith born Northamptonshire, Brixworth RD (nearby switched on) years 1812 to 1816, 1881 and1901 and 1911 censuses.
This allows the registered researcher to choose to re-run one (or more) of their saved searches without having to retype everything.
This could also be automated- when one of the pieces covered by the search is uploaded or changed, and the registered researcher emailed, alerting them to the new result.
This HAS to be for registered researchers, not just everyone, because it depends on associating the values of a search with an individual researcher.
