Consider Adding Two-Factor Authentication to the WordPress Site Login #135

Open hotbeverage2017 opened 3 years ago

Two-factor authentication does not have to be complicated nor slow. Even the simplest two-factor authentication can slow-down some of the tools that try to log in, such as the simple "Check This Box if You're a Human."

There are different tools or plugins to do this. If we were to move forward, discuss what we want or need then look for the right tool/plugin.

This goes along with another issue that talks about adding more security, possibly.

Definitely a Good Thing, but again, do we wait until memory issue is identified?

@DeniseColbert that's a good point. I'll start looking into it, though. Do we also want to do an extra check for e-mail logins, where if they want to signup they have to respond to an e-mail to verify themselves? That's yet one more way to keep the list from getting full of spam.

I think we should, yes.
