Summary

Go to https://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-practices-1.1/examples/grid/dataGrids.html: "Example 2: Sortable Data Grid With Editable Cells"
Use arrow key to navigate inside the grid

Expected result

value of aria-sort is output at the column header

Actual result (Chrome, IE, Firefox)

value of aria-sort is not output at the column header because it does not get the focus, but the buttons inside it

Hi :) is going to be this bug fixed by JAWS? or is there some recommendation how to get it working for JAWS ? thank you.

@kolaps33 I'm not sure if Freedom Scientific should fix the problem, because so far the ARIA specification doesn't clearly specify when ARIA attributes should be output for child or parent elements. As long as the ticket has not been processed, I would not recommend troubleshooting.
