Expected result

switch is output with the same role

Actual result

JAWS outputs the switch element as either a switch or a checkbox:

• as a checkbox in the quick navigation and in the element overview
• as a switch with tab navigation and when reading with the virtual cursor

The status is also output 2 times: once the status of a checkbox ("checked") and once the status of the switch ("on").

The cause is partly an error in the specification. The problem should only be corrected when the specification is clearer.
