Question: Which DBMSs support SE/**/LE/**/CT? #6

In the book, on page 183 you say that many DBMSs support comments within
keywords. I have seen this claim in several places, but no one ever mentioned
specific names and version numbers, and I was never able to replicate the
behaviour. There are rumours that early versions of MySQL did this, but, again,
I can't find a confirmation. Can you shed any light on this? Thanks.

P.S. I was not able to find a better way to send questions/offer feedback, so
unless you tell me off, I will continue to use this issue tracker for that.

As far as I remember it depends on the DBMS and the connector. MySQL and PDO
for example allow other query peculiarities than MySQL and mysqli (both PHP).
Usually this combo does not work indeed but with older versions of MySQL and
PDO you should get successful results.

This is btw the perfect place for feedback and questions :)
