[cleanup] Remove unused mixins from the codebase

• [x] Remove unused mixins from the codebase.
• [x] Use the autoprefixer in the build process. Remove mixins made obsolute. We have an autoprefixer which makes the build process more efficient in managing future browser support and deprecations.
