Sanity Test on User Guide #10

Double check step-by-step reproducing and generating any fix needed.

I covered a lot of this recently. My run through setting things up as per the user guide went quite smoothly. The main difference I found is covered by #26 and that was only a minor concern. I am happy to state that the User Guide seems sane to me.
