Unable to find SGTL5000 codecs in latest kernel 6.1 config #1732

Driver SGTL5000 codec audio freescale was not being built even thought I had CONFIG_SND_SOC_IMX_SGTL5000=y CONFIG_SND_SOC_SGTL5000=y in my defconfig. After running bitbake linux-fslc-imx -c menuconfig, the codec didn't show in the list of drivers:

CONFIG_I2C wasn't set
