Footer broken on RTD site #571

Ever since we moved the docs to http://freeseer.readthedocs.org, the footer (which contains stuff like a "contact us" link) no longer appears.

On second thought, #596 might make this issue obsolete. So I'd wait until that issue is closed before working on this.

The point of the footer is to have common and useful information easily available and visible on every page. But the new theme might have an alternative placement for that in the top navbar.
