If the organization/project is accepted, this will allow students to work on various bug fixes, code revamps or medium/big features while being paid $5k by Google, each. Mentors could guide the students working on various accepted ideas/proposals in order to make sure things run smoothly overall. GSOC could help this project tremendously, as income/funding is rather low atm and paying freelancers for coding costs a lot of money, plus they would get paid in fully only if they manage to complete the task(s) within reasonable amount of time. Participation itself should bring the project quite a bit of highly needed exposure as well.
Seems I forgot about this quite a bit, even just missed it this year. I've made myself a Google Calendar entry for it and a Google Developer account as well, subscribed to their news letter, hopefully this stuff will help with the task at hand.
I've also created an event on Discord -> https://discord.gg/FQeg35wc?event=1209856478308208711
Should apply the project to Google Summer of Code 2025 https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/timeline
