This might just become the new passive ability for Bounty Hunter instead of blowing up, making him one of the best ranged units in the game.
Another idea would be improving range and/or damage for the pistols and riffle with time (as rounds pass since the unit has been materialized). In any case, the current proposed passive will be revamped and used on Cycloper as an active ability most likely, as it makes more sense and has better synergy overall.

Some ranged abilities could work in more directions than the hexagonal paths. If they require clear paths, there should be some extra collision checks done. Ability could check for every pair of 2 hexagons (even) along the direction to be clear of units or just the single ones (odd)
